Organic Container Gardening for All: From kids to seniors, Anyone can Grow Herbs and Veggies in Containers

The minimum we need to produce the book is $7,000 which will pay for the following:

• Editing Services of a Professional
• Book Cover Design
• Book Interior Design
• Marketing/PR
• Pubslush fees

It is our intention to stay on task and to make contact with people of all ages, interested in growing their own food organically in containers, that will benefit from this book. We would be beyond grateful and excited if we go over the minimum $7,000 goal.

Going over the goal would allow us to focus more time on outreach efforts, marketing, advertising, speaking engagements, book signings,  and hands-on workshops where we’d teach others to grow their own food organically in container gardens.

As we come closer to going over the goal, we would increase the rewards/gifting to by giving away books, organic seeds, and culinary plants to our favorite community garden facilities and Food Banks. Check back with us in this area and more details will follow as we get closer to goal. And, don’t forget, we are grateful for all assistance!

FYI – Printed copies of “Organic Container Gardening for All” will be donated, once printed, to support two community gardening organizations and two Food Banks: 1)The Las Flores Community Garden (http://lasfloresgarden.com/) and the Sun City Garden Club, where adults 55 and older gather together to learn and garden; 2) Conejo Food Bank, where Diana Lovejoy has been assisting with obtaining food donations via her church and the Las Flores Community Gardens for over thirty years; 3) Valley View Community Food Assistance, where Amelia Painter has been donating fruit and other food items she grown in her garden since moving to Sun City two years ago.
