Seek Your Pound Of Flesh

An intriguing and ambitious project, Flesh is a dark and surreal short film with spiralling depth to both thrill and captivate its audience. Flesh is the work of the visionary young screen writer and director, Sean Sinclair and has already been filmed and moved into the post-production phase for release. In order to achieve success through this phase and to turn creative vision into reality, Flesh cast and crew members have recently launched a Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign.

The incredibly hard working and largely experienced crew of twenty-six knew the risks and challenges to be faced during the recording processes, but found reward in Flesh – the film that they consider to be the very best work they have achieved in their young careers. Featuring strong and emotive imagery, Flesh is a visually driven short film featuring a predominantly female cast of just fifteen.

Throughout her investigations into the disappearances of several young women, the main character finds herself tumbling down a deep rabbit hole and into the darker side of San Francisco. The performance of the lead Jessica Etheridge reveals the social impact of minority identities within film making and portrays a curiosity which becomes her own demise. Her character slowly loses her ability to distinguish between stark reality and those scenes of her worst nightmares.

Writer, director and producer Sean Sinclair holds a standard and commitment to film making which is second to none. This was recognised in the early stages of filming by Panavision, and Flesh was awarded the New Filmmaker Grant which went on to supply the specialised cameras and lenses required to fulfil Sean’s passion in exploring the darker side of human nature.

Film making is an expensive business, and the outstanding efforts of the cast and crew require financial assistance to complete the work in the high standard that they envisioned. Films usually don’t make it past recording stage without additional funding, and so Flesh has already defied the odds and shifted from the crowds and into the astonishingly bright spotlight.

It is not uncommon knowledge that the entertainment world is a cut throat business. To pledge to the Flesh Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign the above link is available and offers a glimpse into the enchanting command that the film offers.
