Womens Watches Reimagined : Tulipe Noire Launches New Collection On Kickstarter

(Miami Beach, FL) September 10, 2015 Axelle VDB launches a Kickstarter campaign for Tulipe Noire, Women’s Watches Reimagined, a unique watch collection that’s mechanical, limited, and always sprinkled with genuine diamonds.

For the launch, five styles are available: Tiffany Case, May Day, Domino Deval, Honey Rider and Vivienne Michel available in limited editions of 100 pieces.

“I am a watch designer and gemologist with a dream to make a collection that is genuine and truly feminine. I didn’t want to create a piece of dainty jewelry doubling as a watch, a vague copy of an existing luxury Swiss watch or a takedown of a men’s timepiece like most women’s watches are today” the creator explains.

Based in Miami Beach and originally from Belgium, Axelle explains that “The collection includes hallmarks seen only in higher priced watches that I am able to bring to you at an attractive direct to the public pricing thanks to my vast experience designing and sourcing watches for top fashion brands.

All models have at least 0.15 carat of VS quality brilliant cut diamonds, a skeleton mechanical movement that always peaks through the dial, and at the center, a medallion that is a piece of jewelry within the watch, a whimsical element that opens endless design possibilities”

She notes “ While Tulipe Noire is an elegant collection, it is made to last; in stainless steel, with a scratch resistant crystal and water resistance suitable for light swimming”

“In the hopeful event that we secure sufficient funding from our Kickstarter campaign, we will then be able then to go straight into production of the watches,” says Axelle, “ While I have invested my own resources, initial production costs of such a quality timepiece in a limited edition range are high, and I have been successful in keeping the cost to you down to a minimum. All models are ready for production with trusted and proven factories that are ready to produce the collection. We just need your support, and we thank you for that.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of limited rewards including one May Day Butterfly or Domino Deval Skull & Bones watches for $275 both with Italian made leather straps, a Honey Rider seashell or Vienne Michelle Anchor models for $300 with stainless steel bracelet. Backers can also pledge $750 for Tiffany Case, a watch with 1/2 carat of diamonds.
