It’s time to send a message. The apparel industry is the second most polluting industry, second only to oil. But there are solutions to this problem, and it starts with being conscious of the products you purchase. To demonstrate how apparel can be long lasting, look amazing, and still be completely sustainable, we decided to make the Clean Tee. When you purchase this tee, you are sending a message to the apparel industry, demanding eco-friendly, ethically manufactured products.

What will the funds be used for?

Initial funds will help cover the cost of manufacturing our first run of Clean Tee’s using Recover textiles. We’ve set some high stretch goals. These are numbers we need to hit in order to inspire other brands to make the switch to Recover.

• Hitting $100,000 is a clear indication of the demand for sustainable apparel. This represents $1 million in revenue a year, which is a good start for any small business. Raising this amount of money will allow us to educate the public on the need for sustainable apparel.
• Reaching $500,000 proves the market and will make the argument for larger brands to switch to Recover. If we can reach this goal, we’ve accomplished what we set out to do. Raising this amount of money will allow us to expand the Clean Apparel line and educate the public on the need for sustainable apparel.
