Hi, my name is William Grame and I want to help as many people as possible dominate diabetes with my invention but I need your help

I was diagnosed with Type 1diabetes at the age of 5 (Im now 11). For those of you who dont know what that is, it is a disease which stops the body producing insulin, a hormone necessary for the bodys cells to absorb energy in the form of glucose.

Since I was diagnosed I have had to check my blood sugar levels about 15,000 times; to do this I have to prick my finger and put a drop of blood onto a tiny test strip in a blood glucose testing machine.

Now here is where the inspiration and my invention comes ina MAJOR problem for diabetics is that these tiny test strips, usually no bigger than 3 or 4 cms, get ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE! I always get into trouble for leaving my blood test strips around the house because I have to test my blood up to 10 times a day, which adds up to lots and lots of test strips. I wanted to stop other kids from getting into trouble too.

Thats where my invention came from the DIABETIC TEST STRIP REMOVAL UNITis an easy and hygienic way of storing the strips until you are ready to dispose of them. Blood test strips, currently with no convenient way to be disposed of, can be fed into the disposal unit directly without being touched. How it works can be seen in the video above or atyoutube.

The idea was the winner ofthe LittleBig Idea(I was 10 then), which won mea trip to NASA space centre in the US next year.

Im need the funds manufacture the device in order tomy invention to as many people as possible through mass production by my company Diabetes Domination (Im the youngest CEO in Australia).

As you can see, I have been working very hard to make my dream come true! I really believe that my invention will make a big difference in the life of diabetics because it has made a big difference in mine, I just need your help getting it to them.
