This project proposes to save and restore the Grenville Manor House in Bideford, North Devon.

About the project

This project proposes to save and restore the Grenville Manor House in Bideford, North Devon which is situated in the old quarter of town by the properties now identified as 1-3 Bridge Street. These properties have recently come onto the market and the trust wishes to purchase them with the intent of restoring them to their former glory and opening them to the public.

This crowd funding project aims in the first instance to raise £100’000 which in addition to possible match funding and an interest free loan will be used to purchase the property (c. £280’000). If this can be achieved a further project will be undertaken to restore the properties subject to planning) to resemble the original Manor House that stood on the site.
