About the project
Gillingham Gymnastics Club, a registered charity, has been running for 25 years. It has over 600 members, some disabled and with special needs.
We are being forced to leave our current home as it is no longer habitable. The present lease runs out on October 1 and staff and parents are urgently looking for an alternative venue – great news is that we think we may have found our new home!
However the new premises will need funds and the support of many willing hands to convert it into a safe and suitable environment for all the gymnasts.
We’d also gratefully accept any offers of volunteering to help clear, clean, develop and decorate our new home.
The club runs a wide range of disciplines within the sport with gymnasts competing at all levels. GCC also has the only competitive squads in aerobics and disabilities gymnastics in the South East.
Please help us to keep this local institution open for all!
