Take Gruffalo to the World Championships!!!

About the project

Gruff came to me May last year from a pound in Spain. He was in the pound from 3 months old until I got him – when he was 18 months. Since then he has excelled in the Sleddog sport of canicross (running with you dog). By chance he was put on a scooter (see profile picture) and came 3rd in his first ever race. 

We have the unique opportunity to atten the IFSS World Chamionships in Canada at the end of October. However as Sleddog sports are amateur sports we don’t race for money and have to fund all competitions ourselves. Hence then need to raise the funds to attend.

The funds raised will pay for

return flight to Montreal from Paris for human (me) dog (Gruff) and scooter – the cheapest flights are from paris

channel crossing (cheapest ferry crossing) 

van hire (I will sleep in the van to save on accommodation costs)

Should I not attend – either due to not reaching funding target or due to any other circumstances – I will refund any donations made!
