The Dog Show 2015: will take place on the 10th of October. It will include incredible dog demonstrations, a fun competition, and will raise funds for African Tails, Cape of Good Hope SPCA, TEARS, and SA Guide Dog Association.

The funds raised will go to animal welfare organizations

Calling all dog lovers and dogs in Muizenberg (and beyond) to support The Dog Show 2015.

The event will include professional dog demonstrations that showcase dog agility, talent and intelligence. Also on the programme is The Dog Show competition. Our expert panel of judges will have the hard but very fun task of awarding dogs for the following categories:

– Cutest puppy
– Best golden oldie
– Friendliest dog
– Biggest dog
– Smallest dog
– Fastest dog
– Prettiest dog
– Most handsome dog
– Owner look alike
– Best trained dog
– Fluffiest dog
– Muizenberg Festival Dog of 2015

Think your dog has what it takes? Pay the registration fee either online, through our Thundafund reward, or on the day of the event and enter your dog into this fun competition.

We are very proud to announce Vondi’s (www.vondis.co.za) as a partner as they will be sponsoring lovely prizes. The Dog Show is in full support of Vondi’s valuable work of providing a healthier alternative for caring for your dog with their fantastic range of organic dog food and natural remedies.

Throughout the event there will be a photographer, food stalls, pet stalls and donation stalls. Our aim is to raise enough money to be able to donate to the following organisations:

We’re sure that quite a few of the dog owners reading this found their furry best friend at one of these organizations or at least knows someone who has. All these organizations are doing inspirational and much-needed work and completely rely on support. We want to provide this support in bucket loads by donating a substantial amount to them through our Thundafund campaign. Please help us do this.

We are very excited as we go ahead with planning this inaugural dog show and appreciate any contribution. Let’s get those tails wagging!

Milestone 1 –  R8 00
The Tipping Point
We will cover basic production costs for prizes (hampers, certificates, trophies), demonstrations and advertising.

Milestone 2 – R18 000
We will cover full production costs and donate a satisfactory amount to:
